Plan Options

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designated the following meal plans for the 2018-2019 academic year. Please note that any student who wishes to change their meal plan after the first 10 days of the semester will need to make an appointment with the Director of Dining Services.

Carte Blanche Plan.
Offering the ultimate in flexibility and options, the Carte Blanche Plan allows unlimited access to the Noble Family Dining Hall during posted hours. Join us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, and stop by as often as you like for snacks or other meals. $40.00 in Munch Money per semester is included in the Carte Blanche Plan. 

Option 14 
The Option 14 Plan offers the best of both worlds, meals and Munch Money to keep a hungry student more than satisfied. This plan provides access to the Noble Family Dining Hall 14 times every week during the semester, plus $140.00 in Munch Money.

Option 10
Want a little more flexibility for your meals in the dining hall? Try the Option 10 Plan. This plan provides access to the Noble Family Dining Hall 10 times during the week, plus $175.00 in Munch Money

Option 7 
The Option 7 Plan is perfect for the lighter eater. This plan provides access to the Noble Family Dining Hall 7 times during the week, plus $250.00 in Munch Money. 

We understand that you have chosen to live off campus or have been selected to be a tenant of the Opus Apartments, Regina South, or Annunciata Hall. The Belle's Blue Plan offers unique opportunities for you, because it was designed specifically with you in mind! 

Participant's in the Belle's Blue Plan have 50 meals that they can use to eat in the Noble Family Dining Hall throughout the academic year plus $60 in Munch Money that may be used in the Noble Family Dining Hall, Cyber Cafe, Spes Unica Cafe, Murphy's Cafe and our off campus locations: Jimmy John's and Papa John's. 

With the Belles Blue Plan, a student with a valid student ID also has the option to bring a guest into the dining hall to eat with them. For more information on how to sign up and the cost of this plan, please contact the Office of Residence Life.

Buy Munch Money

Munch Money is for those times when you may have to miss a meal or just want a snack. This money can be used in the Noble Family Dining Hall, Cyber Cafe, Spes Unica Cafe, Murphy's Cafe and our off campus locations: Jimmy John's and Papa John's.

Dining Policies One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that meal cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

Co-Exchange Program – University of Notre Dame

 Saint Mary’s College and Sodexo Dining Services provides students with a limited meal exchange program at the University of Notre Dame.  This program permits the following approved groups and students to receive a dinner meal at the University of Notre Dame:

  • Saint Mary's students participating in the Notre Dame Marching band when band practice interferes with dining times at Saint Mary's.
  • Saint Mary's students taking classes at Notre Dame when class time interfere with dining times at Saint Mary's.
  • Saint Mary's students who are members of the ROTC at Notre Dame.
  • All other requests will be reviewed for approval by Saint Mary's and Sodexo.

Students who choose to participate in extracurricular activities or work at Notre Dame are not eligible for a co-exchange meal.

 

Students who need to sign up for a Co-Ex can click here to fill out the Co-Ex form by 9/20/2018.  Please supply Official documentation listing dates and times the co-ex is needed must be included with the request.  Once submitted, please allow 5 business days for the request to be processed.  After 9/20/2018, students need to email Sue Swathwood (sueswath@saintmarys.edu) to make an appointment to meet with Sodexo of Saint Mary’s to request an approval for a co-ex.  

Once approved, students can pick up a "CoEx Approval Card" at the checker's station in the Noble Family Dining Hall. On this card, the specific days that "CoEx" has been approved will be identified. The student will then be able to go to the Noble Family Dining Hall on those days and show this "Approval" card to receive the actual "CoEx" that will allow them to eat at Notre Dame. All "CoEx" tickets must be picked up between the hours of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Sunday through Friday. This program is only available for the Dinner Meal Period.
